In all honesty, I almost didn't buy them when I saw the total. They advertise as "cheaper than going to a salon", but if I just went and got a regular mani-pedi, it would've been that price. Plus, I don't usually get pedi's anyway because I don't like people touching my feet, so I almost didn't buy them because I could get my acrylics done for that price.
I received my nails on September 4th and decided to put them on that day. I started with my toes because I knew once I put my nails on it'd be a struggle to do my toes. Well, it was a struggle even without nails on. The nails were small, I knew they would be because it's for toes, but I wish they would've had some sort of holder or something to help apply them on. I lost 3 or 4 of them because they kept falling/sliding off while I was applying the glue to them, and the nail to my toe. Which leads me to how messy the glue was! It got EVERYWHERE, I am so glad I decided to do it outside! By the time I finished one foot, my hand was completely covered in glue.

I don't know if it's because of the glue, or the material the nails are out of, but I had this problem with BOTH the Pedi Dashes and Nail Dashes, the nails SLID off my finger and toes while I was holding it down to get it to adhere to my nails. I followed the instructions on the box for 7-14 days, I applied nail polish remover and washed my nails before trying to apply them. So, I'm not quite sure what the problem was, but they did NOT want to adhere to my nails!

I loved the colors of the nails, both toes, and nails. However, the color of the toenails was so light that glue bubbles could be seen under the nail. Then, with the nails, the glue kept bubbling up from underneath and caused clumps of glue to be stuck to the tops of my nails. It looked very tacky and took away from the beautiful colors of the nails. They also felt VERY unsecured, like they would pop off my finger at any moment. I was about to give up after one hand because of how messy it was, how horrible it looked, and I had already been doing this for OVER an hour!
I was really looking forward to these turning out good and working well, especially after spending $40 on them, so I was super disappointed.
On the second day, my toe nail literally broke in half! Not fell off, SPLIT in half! I have NEVER had glue on nails (or any nails for that matter) split in half like this! Then, the day after that, my middle toe nail FELL OFF. They were supposed to last 7-14 days, it didn't even make it through 3. The day after that I lost ALL of my finger nails....

Day 3, I had seen lots of videos of Red Aspen Sellers cleaning their houses with Dashes, taking care of their kids, etc. So I really wanted to put them to the test. While wiping down my bathtub with a wet towel to get the cleaner off it, I lost 2 nails. Then, I picked up the diaper pail and lost another. While wiping down the kitchen counters I lost another 2. Then I lost one when I was holding my DSLR taking pictures of my son. The other 4 I lost sometime during the day, but I'm not sure when because I just noticed they were gone at some point. (I later found the missing ones on my bedroom floor a few days later.) THEN, to top my day off, my toe nail CRACKED while laying in bed.

After this, I contacted Red Aspen directly. I sent them my complaints and showed them the photos I have also shown you guys. They apologized for the "faulty products" and gave me a full refund. I however do not believer the products were faulty, and that it is just their products. I will not be purchasing from Red Aspen in the future, and will stick with KISS nails from Target. I have NEVER had a problem like this with them before, and I feel the quality of them is much better.
If you are interested in trying out Red Aspen for yourself, then please contact the lady I bought them from. She was very helpful with solving these issues for me, and she is a great sales woman. I do not fault her for this issue at all, I simply feel it was the product itself. They also sell other products such as lashes, eyeshadow, and lipstick. I however will probably not be trying any of these in the future though.
